24th August, Arnsberg > Kassel

The official results of the 3rd stage of the Lidl Deutschland Tour 2025 on 23 August between Arnsberg and Kassel: The stage winner, the general classification, the points classification, the young riders classification and the mountain classification.

Søren Wærenskjold strengthened his grip on the Lidl Deutschland Tour by winning stage 3 in Kassel under lucky circumstances. Danny van Poppel (Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe) crossed the line first after 175.7 kilometers but was relegated by the jury for irregular sprinting, handing the win to the Norwegian. Emilien Jeannière (Team TotalEnergies) finished second, with Samuel Watson (INEOS Grenadiers) in third. Wærenskjold retains the leader’s jersey with one stage remaining.

“I’ve seen the footage and I believe the decision was correct, but it’s not the way I want to win,” admitted Wærenskjold. “Danny was the strongest—had he held his line, he would have taken the stage.”
