Anyone who loves art and culture will feel right at home in Herxheim. Right at the entrance to town, visitors are greeted by the kinetic sculpture "Kein Stillstand" ("No Standstill") by Gunter Gaubatz – a title that perfectly captures the vibrant spirit of our region.
At the heart of Herxheim lies the Villa Wieser cultural center. Concerts, exhibitions, and readings shape its varied program. The independent Villa Wieser art school is also based here, offering courses, seminars, and workshops in numerous artistic disciplines year-round. Rounding out the offerings are atmospheric open-air events held in the idyllic grounds of the Villa Wieser park.
Renowned well beyond the region is the Herxheimer Chawwerusch Theater. Alongside professional productions, dedicated local residents also take to the stage here. Performances take place in the former village dance hall – a theater experience with a truly special atmosphere.
